An Approach to Consensus Reaching in Multiperson Decision Making Problems with Incomplete Information

In the resolution of a Multiperson Decision Making (MPDM) problem is usually important to assure that there is at least a certain level of agreement between the experts on the final solution. In this paper we present a Consensus Reaching Process for MPDM where the information given by the experts is based on incomplete fuzzy preference relations. In this process we define a method to generate advice by means of easy rules about how experts should change their opinions to reach a solution with a high consensus degree and with a high consistency level on the experts preferences. These rules are based on consistency and consensus measures.
